Description
Unplug DVD players with digital displays when you aren't using them. Do the same for other home electronics such as VCRs, stereo components, etc. Even though the display is seemingly innocent, keeping it lit all the time consumes energy that otherwise could be saved. One option to alleviate the difficulty with reaching the cords and outlets is to plug items into a power strip that is placed in an accessible location.Tags
