When you turn off the lights when you exit the romm or house you could be helping someone in Afria get heat and light.

Description

Turn off the lights when you exit the house in the morning for the day. If no one is home to need the lights, energy is wasted and the life of the bulb is being consumed. Consider installing timers for lights to provide lighting and safety prior to your return in the evening.

Assumptions We Made

Only one light left on usually. Turning off single light with 40 Watt bulb, out of house for 10 hours for a day. You would reap additional savings beyond our projection if a higher wattage bulb is in your fixture, if multiple fixtures are typically left on, and if you are out of the house longer hours.
