This might be quite a controversial decision. As you know manual razors are used with hot water to clean them off. Heating that water will use many times more electricity than the low power motor that runs the electric razor.

Manual razors, at least the ones I've used, need the blades replaced every couple weeks, as opposed to electric blades which only need replacing every 2 years (though I've gone up to 6 years without replacement). I think the material waste of a manual one and transport and packaging of replacements is much higher than the energy used on an electric, and don't forget everything that goes into shaving cream as well, unneeded with an electric.
