Description
When you need to travel to several destinations (for errands, events, etc.), combine the trips together. By going from one destination to another in a series, rather than going individually to each one and returning home in between, you reduce your overall mileage driven, and thus reduce fuel consumption.Tags

Assumptions We Made
Assume separate trip to two locations would be 20 miles roundtrip, combining trips would be 12 miles (not quite half if you have to drive between the locations). Vehicle fuel economy 20 miles/gallon, cost of gas $3.50/gallonImpacts
Initial Impacts
Each time you carry out this action, the immediate impacts are:
- Saves 1.40 dollars
- Saves 0.40 gallons of fuel
- Saves 8.80 lbs of CO2
Ongoing Impacts
Some actions also have additional impact over time. For this action, these are:
- Unknown
Potential Annual Impact
We assume that this action will be carried out daily (about 160 times a year). In this case, in a year you could save:- 224.00 dollars
- 64.00 gallons of fuel
- 1408.00 lbs of CO2
